Alpha 1460XS
With its larger swing (460mm), more powerful 11kW spindle motor, distance between centres of 1500mm, the Alpha 1460XS offers even greater versatility for the most demanding of applications.
Alpha machines are renowned for their versatility, offering an outstanding ability to handle a very wide range of work-pieces, and the Alpha 1460XS CNC combination lathe is no exception.

Its cutting-edge design and construction quality begins with the lathe bed. It uses high-performance cast-iron with Warren-type construction for maximum strength and optimum swarf clearance.

The bed is also mounted on cast-iron plinths to neutralise stress in the machine bed. Slideways are hardened and specially ground to ensure high-precision parallel operation of the Alpha 1460XS turning centre at all times.
